The tragic loss of his son Calder (nicknamed “Mr. Awesome” for his giant heart and desire to change the world) has led Chris to filling Calder’s very big shoes to make a difference. Alongside wife Carla and son Caleb and their 501(c) 3 nonprofit Caleb & Calder Sloan’s Awesome Foundation, he’s a change agent who has made a dent in the Universe by turning ripples of kindness into waves – propelling supporters to “Unleash Their Awesome” to bring light to the world.

    During the pandemic provided free groceries to over 7500 families in areas like Norwalk, New Orleans, Key West and both Dade and Broward Counties with 10 different events.

    Working with Overtown Youth Center distributed school supplies, backpacks and a Grad Night event during Covid to underprivileged youths in the community.
